Carey Price Does Something Amazing For A Special Fan Battling Cancer

It's a very odd year for the Montreal Canadiens and it's fans myself included that are sad that we won't ever see Carey Price between the pipes at the Bell Centre ever again.

Price will always have a special place in Canadiens fans hearts for all he did on and off the ice. I'm sure a lot of you remember when Carey Price fulfilled a women's dying wish for her son to meet Carey Price. Of course Price being the stand up guy he is, he indeed met with that young Habs fan.


Despite his playing career being over he's still continuing to do amazing things off the ice. As a Canadiens fan named Shirley Wischee Moar along with her husband Kenneth were hit were terrible news. Shirley has been having headaches so she went to see a specialist for them and were hit with the terrible news that it's a brain tumour.



Shirley and her husband shared on the awful news social media and also put out a request to somehow meet Carey Price. On Sunday Shirley got her wish, as Carey Price personally gave her a video call. The two talked for about 10 minutes and I'm sure to Shirley it meant the world. Shout out to Carey for doing this for her that's such a touching story.
