Vegas Golden Knights lose McNabb, gain Dorofeyev for Game 3 vs Oilers
According to Vegas reporters at practice today, Pavel Dorofeyev will return on the second line, and Kaeden Korczak will draw in on defence. Brayden McNabb is out with injury, and
Brandon Saad is aa well.
Regaining Pavel Dorofeyev is a massive addition for the Vegas Golden Knights. The 24 year old Russian forward was their leading scorer this season with 35 goals, especially as a quality shooter on the powerplay.
Adding him back into the lineup significantly improves their second line, and makes their powerplay much more of a threat for the Oilers PK and
Stuart Skinner.
According to Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy, Brayden McNabb was able to make the trip to Edmonton despite missing tonight's game. That could indicate that a return in Game 4 is possible, which would be good news for Vegas.
Vegas' lineup is getting much stronger if they can add Dorofeyev and McNabb back in the series quickly. The Oilers will be looking to win a pivotal Game 3 on home ice, and take a commanding series lead over their rival Vegas.
