Everyone in the Oilers organization was holding their breath when Connor McDavid exited practice early today, but according to Coach Knoblauch, there are zero issues to worry about.
At this point in the playoffs, players are often playing through significant injuries. The Panthers have some players believed to be playing hurt, but the Oilers seem very healthy outside
Zach Hyman.

When speaking to media after practice, Coach Knoblauch put any worries aside and revealed that McDavid has no issues. He'll certainly be playing Game 1, but the coach also then insisted he's fully healthy.
Even when McDavid left practice after speaking to a trainer, there was no doubt among Oilers fans that he'd be playing in Game 1. Only a catastrophic injury could hold the Captain out at this point.
McDavid himself seems to be close to fully healthy at this point, with incredible performances all through the playoffs. The Oilers only playing 10 games in their last 2 series surely helped keep the team as healthy as possible.
The rest of the Oilers team is near full health, especially with the returns of
Mattias Ekholm and
Connor Brown cleared to play Game 1 of the Cup Final. Along with home ice advantage, the Oilers may have the health advantage on Florida now.
McDavid elevated his game to the next level in last year's Cup Final, and surely will do so again this year. Hopefully, he can win a Conn Smythe in a winning effort this time.
It's great news to get confirmation that McDavid will play Game 1, but it was truly never in doubt. Destiny awaits the Oilers in the next two weeks.
