The Edmonton Oilers have confirmed their starting lineup for tonight's game against the Dallas Stars, and they'll still be without a few key players.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Kasperi Kapanen, and Jake Walman have all missed time with time with injury with undefined timelines - but now it seems that 2 of them are very close to their return.

Edmonton Oilers confirm lineup for tonight's game and update all injuries

Speaking to the media at today's morning skate, the Oilers confirmed they'll use the same lineup against Florida - meaning no injured players will return.
All likes will remain the same, including call-up forward Connor Clattenburg remaining in the 4th line. Zach Hyman will stay down on the 3rd line in an effort to round out the lineup.
However, the good news is that Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Kasperi Kapanen are likely to be cleared to play on Saturday. Nuge seems to be slightly ahead of Kapanen, but the Oilers may be being cautious with any return timelines given their lighter schedule.
Unfortunately, Jake Walman is still not back to skating yet which suggests he's further away. Walman was dinged on two hard plays earlier this week and left a game after playing only 10 minutes of ice time. The Oilers have provided no timeline or info on his injury.
For tonight's game against the Dallas Stars, the Oilers will be hoping home ice provides them another boost, and get another win.
Now over 20 games into the season still outside a playoff spot, the Oilers absolutely must begin to turn around their season - starting tonight against a quality opponent.
