The Vancouver Canucks are currently second last in the pacific division, and now have put out the notice that they're listening to trade offers on all players but Hughes.
The Canucks have been on a sharp downturn since taking the Oilers to a 7-game series in 2024. After trading JT Miller, regressing play from other stars, they now look poised for a full rebuild.
Vancouver Canucks listening to trade offers on all players but Hughes
In a bombshell report from Elliotte Friedman tonight, the Canucks have essentially told the NHL they're listening on all players.
According to several sources, the Vancouver Canucks have let it be known that - in an effort to get younger - they are willing to listen to offers on «veteran players.»
The obvious question is: Does this mean
Quinn Hughes? I'm told the answer is no, at this time.

If these players are moved, surely Quinn Hughes won't be re-signing there - and he'll eventually he delays as well. With these moves the Canucks would be headed to tear it down and tank.
One forward who may interest the Edmonton Oilers in trade is
Kiefer Sherwood. Oilers insider Bob Stauffer has repeatedly hinted he may be an option for Edmonton, if Vancouver is willing to deal to a rival.
With Vancouver now looking to enter a true rebuild for the first time in around 10 years, the Pacific division will open up a bit more for the Oilers - and they'll have bragging rights over their rivals.
