Connor McDavid ticked off after Oilers playoff series win over Vegas Golden Knights

The Edmonton Oilers finished off a dominant series against the Vegas Golden Knights in 5 games, but Captain Connor McDavid wasn't even close to satisfied in his post game comments.
McDavid has been a true leader off the ice for the Oilers in this series, stressing his belief in the group numerous times despite serious outside criticism. But the job isn't finished.

McDavid praised the efforts from every Oiler involved in the series win, especially Stuart Skinner bouncing back from a tough stretch. Overall though, McDavid was happy to quiet the doubters of the Oilers and is already looking forward to the next round.
When asked about how the Oilers have improved defending, McDavid actually seemed ticked off that this is still a narrative around the team. The Captain feels they've proven themselves as an elite two way team.
I mean, how many times are we going to answer this question, really? Like honestly. It's frustrating you keep talking about this. We can defend. We can. We've shown that time and time again. Come into a tough building and win a 1-0 game when it matters most. We can play that way.

Not only on the team's defence, but McDavid backed his starting goalie Stuart Skinner hard. It's a meaningful endorsement from the captain for a player who's clearly been battling to get back to this point.
Not only that, but McDavid laid into the doubters of the Oilers entire roster. On every front, McDavid reiterated his belief that each player can play their role en route to a Stanley Cup.
There's probably a lot of people that thought it was going to be longer than 5, and a lot of people that thought we wouldn't win. So it's nice to keep on rolling, keep proving people wrong.

It's unreal to see how unfazed McDavid is by a 2nd round playoff win, and how locked in he is for their ultimate goal. With ultimate belief in himself and his teammates, McDavid is only focused on the 16th playoff win this year.
