VIDEO: The First Hockey Goalie Goal of The Season Has Been Scored

It was a challenging start for the Laval Rockets in Wednesday's AHL game. They found themselves trailing 3-0 against the Rochester Americans by the end of the first period.

As the Rochester Americans pulled their goalie, Filip Cederqvist inadvertently scored an own goal, putting the puck into his own empty net on a centering pass.

The surprising part was that Rocket's goalie, Strauss Mann, was the last player to touch the puck, and he was credited with the goal. It was a unique and unexpected moment that allowed Mann to celebrate with his teammates.
