Right now there's not a hockey player in the world that's currently hotter then Connor Bedard. The 17 year-old hockey phenom just lead Canada to back-to-back World Junior Hockey Championships.

Along the way, Bedard broke almost all of the Canadian records including most goals by a Canadian, most assists all time by a Canadian, most points all time by a Canadian and most points in a single tournament by a Canadian. Bedard was also named tournament MVP as he was truly on another level compared to all the other players, also many were a couple years older then Bedard.

Bedard would set a new interesting record because he didn't have to do anything to get it. Elite Prospects is a
popular website for hockey fans to go to, to get their fix for junior hockey. Elite Prospects would reveal their list for the most popular player searched last week, and guess who was number one?

Of course it was Connor Bedard who set a all time record for the most player searches with 245,507 searches in one week. Montreal Canadiens prospect Joshua Roy was 2nd with 55,467 and Slovakian goaltender Adam Gajan was 3rd with 44,517 searches.
