The QJHL and CHL communities are united in mourning the loss of a player who left a positive impact on those around him. The sudden passing of Emile Gagne has sent shockwaves through everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
"Emile Gagne, aged 19, tragically lost his life in a traffic accident. He was a member of the Princeville Titan & Joliette Predateurs in the QJHL last season."
During the 2016-2017 season, Gagne showcased his skills with teams like Mauricie Estacades Bantam AAA R, Collège Laflèche Dragons, Princeville Titans, and Joliette Prédateurs in the QJHL. Hailing from Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Gagne's journey was intertwined with his closest teammates, fostering lifelong bonds formed since the beginning of their careers.
In memory of Gagne's spirit, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist with unforeseen expenses and to honor his legacy. The hockey world stands united as it reflects on the impact this young player had, both on and off the ice.
