The Edmonton Oilers are back on the ice for practice today after last night's loss to the New Jersey Devils, and are making some interesting line changes.

The Oilers still anticipate to be without Leon Draisaitl for tomorrow's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but he is expected to return sometime this week. Tomorrow night will also be Stuart Skinner's first return to Edmonton as a Penguin.

Edmonton Oilers reveal line changes vs. Pittsburgh, Penguins announce starting goalie

According to reporters at Oilers practice today, the team is expected to use the following lineup vs. Pittsburgh tomorrow night:
The usual top line with Nugent-Hopkins on left wing will be reunited, which throws a wrench down the entire rest of the lineup without Draisaitl.
Jack Roslovic will centre the second line with Ike Howard and Matt Savoie, seemingly a major promotion for the two rookies. Who knows how much Knoblauch will actually play them, but this pairing is gaining more confidence from the coaching staff.
Janmark, Lazar, and Mangiapane will stay together as the third line. Trent Frederic and Vasily Podkolzin skated as the 4th line without a centreman - with Alec Regula playing forward as a placeholder. It's somewhat shocking to see Podkolzin get the supposed demotion when he's really elevated his game lately.
All defence pairs remain the same, and Connor Ingram projects to be the starting goalie.
Though Stuart Skinner will be making his return to Edmonton tomorrow night, he won't be playing. The Penguins have announced Arturs Silovs will get the start in net, and Skinner will play tonight against Calgary.
Hopefully the Oilers can get back on track with a win on home ice against the Penguins tomorrow night, and Knoblauch's method of piecing together the lineup works in Draisaitl's absence.
