Edmonton Oilers using ignorant comment from Kings as bulletin board material

Phillip Danault went on to say that the Oilers intentionally dressed a second squad with the intention of trying to hurt the Kings players before playoffs - a totally ignorant comment that missed the Oilers injury problems.

The Oilers organization has already poked fun at Danault's comments by calling him a clown, and now they're furthering the rivalry by using the comment as bulletin board material.

The team has repeatedly posted on social media Danault's B-squad comment, paired with a video of Draisaitl looking pretty peeved.

Danault's comments may have actually been pretty accurate given the amount of regular Oilers who missed the game, he entirely missed the context of why they missed the games - and dissed the players who will still be playing in the playoffs.

The Oilers entire top 9 forwards, except for Quinn Hutson, will all be regulars for the Oilers in the coming series. On defence, only Josh Brown and Cameron Dineen wouldn't be expected to play.

Corey Perry was one player who fired back at the ignorant comments of Danault, but every other player in the lineup is also likely itching to prove they're not the B-squad.

The Oilers ended up losing that game in a 5-0 blowout, but for Game 1 of the series, they'll have their superstars back and ready to carry the load.

Hopefully, the supporting cast players like Nuge, Skinner, Arvidsson, Brown, anx Perry can rally to make Danault regret his ignorant comments this playoffs.
