The Oilers were able to mount yet another comeback and this time finish it off with a win, tying the series and taking the momentum heading back to LA.
Edmonton Oilers held team meeting without McDavid, Draisaitl, Janmark, and Coach
According to the Sportsnet broadcast last night, the Oilers held a meeting in the first intermission to demand better from their role players.
The meeting is with everybody but McDavid, Draisaitl, Kris Knoblauch, and Janmark. I guess he's off the hook.

The Oilers were dominated by the Kings in the opening frame, and likely the rest of the series, McDavid and Draisaitl were still pulling their weight.
It's a great sign to see some role players outside the superstars take some accountability, even without the coach, and rally their team for a better collective effort.
In a way, the depth players on the Oilers feel a sense of obligation to match the effort of McDavid and Draisaitl. It's an instance of the greatness of the Oilers superstars motivating the roster to be even better.
It could be players like
Corey Perry leading moments like this. The 39 year old veteran has elevated his game even more in the playoffs, being a full example of how to adapt to playoff hockey.
Their turnaround didn't end up taking place until the third period, and Janmark is an odd player to be excluded - but it's a great sign for the Oilers overall.
