Edmonton Oilers reveal starting lineups for tonight's game vs. Panthers
According to Oilers reporters at practice, the team will deploy the following lineup tonight:
All forward lines will remain the same, finally showing some signs of continuity from Coach Knoblauch.
Matt Savoie and
Jack Roslovic have been among the Oilers' best wingers this season, and have kept their assignment on the top line with McDavid.
Leon Draisaitl is still alongside his reliable linemate Podkolzin, with
Andrew Mangiapane on right wing.
Zach Hyman will stay down on the third line, not as a demotion but instead to add depth to the Oilers lineup. He should be able to be a play driver against lesser competition.
The Oilers have a chance to send a message to the Panthers and the NHL tonight, but also to find a turning point for their season. A win over Florida would be huge for this team's confidence after early season struggles - we'll have to see if they can earn that.
