Dallas Stars forward Wyatt Johnson has had success in his short career but appears to be having a tough time transferring this to the playoffs as he is historically the worst when it comes to plus minus as he sits at -17.

Despite playing 82 games and scoring 33 goals in the season, he has been a ghost in these playoffs with only four goals and no points through the last five games.

Oilers legend Wayne Gretzky endorsed Johnston

It was a stunning sight for many watching Edmonton Oilers legend Wayne Gretzky visiting the Dallas Stars dressing room prior to the beginning of the Western Conference finals.
Gretzky visited the stall of Johnston and gave him a ringing endorsement while telling him he gives his brother Brett Gretzky a hard time for not drafting him during the 2021 entry draft for the Oilers.
The team chose Xavier Bourgault rather than Johnston which many felt was a misstep by the Oilers scouting staff and management.
Johnston will need to improve his numbers during the playoffs as he is touted as one of the main players for the team especially as playoff performances has become a judgement for many star players in the NHL.

Oilers looking to build off their dominate Game 3

It was a real treat for Oilers fans to watch their team take control again against the stars and put six goals past Jake Oettinger as the Oilers look to take command of the series.
The team is continuing to get great performances from their offense, players who are not named Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl through secondary scoring.
The team has also enjoyed the resurgence of goaltender Stuart Skinner who has emerged to be back in top form after he had several days rest due to several poor performances.
The team will now receive more reinforcements as defenseman Mattias Ekholm is slated to be back in the lineup shortly which will strengthen their defence core even further.
Game 4 will play on May 27th at Rogers place in Edmonton and puck drop will be at 8:00 PM eastern.
