The Edmonton Oilers have a chance to eliminate the Dallas Stars tonight and clinch their berth to the Cup Final, but one Stars player has some offside comments prior to Game 5.

The Oilers have suffered a devastating loss with Zach Hyman out for the rest of the playoffs with injury, after a questionable hit from Mason Marchment. The Stars are openly saying this is a great break for them.

Dallas Stars' Thomas Harley has offside comments on Hyman injury

When speaking to the media today, Stars defender Thomas Harley openly admitted that he was happy Hyman was knocked out of the series, because he's a quality player that was giving them trouble.

Obviously that is a reality of the game, but it's a little classless to say that he's happy Hyman broke his wrist. Harley did qualify that injuries are bad, but otherwise was giddy Hyman is ruled out.
When it came to their star player Roope Hintz missing just one game after a slash from Darnell Nurse, Stars players actually vowed revenge and to target the Oilers. Mason Marchment, who injured Hyman, publicly vowed he wanted to get payback.
Plenty of Oilers fans find Harley's comments to be completely offside. The playoffs should be a battle between the best teams with their best lineups, and for him to relish a weakened opponent is just poor sportsmanship.
In Game 5, the Oilers have a chance to make Harley eat his words and put an end to Dallas' season. Edmonton is just one more win away from a rematch with the Florida Panthers for the Stanley Cup.
