Sportsnet may make major change to Oilers playoff broadcast in Round 2

Sportsnet may be making some changes in the second round of playoffs that will involve taking Jack Michaels off the call for television broadcasts.
Jack Michaels and Louie DeBrusk were able to call Oilers playoff games on TV for the first time this season, but it may come to a quick end based on the results of other series.
Oilers insider Bob Stauffer hints that Jack Michaels may be taken off playoff TV broadcasts
According to Bob Stauffer on a recent edition of Oilers Now, Sportsnet may assign another broadcaster to the Oilers second round based on the results in the Winnipeg Jets series.
Don't be surprised if you see Jack and Louie in round 2 as well when Edmonton takes on the Vegas Golden Knights. Although, the Winnipeg Jets might play a factor in that.

Harnaryan Singh is currently doing play by play for the Winnipeg Jets series, and has served as the Oilers national broadcaster in the past.
Stauffer seems to be suggesting that if Winnipeg is eliminated tonight, Singh would be assigned to take over the Oilers series from Jack Michaels. Simply out, Singh is a high ranking broadcaster than Michaels.
The most senior broadcaster is the Maple Leafs crew with Chris Cuthbert, who will likely get the call to for the last remaining Canadian team.
It would sting for Michaels to be cut from the TV broadcast in the second round, and also for the fans who are partial to his passionate homer style of play by play.
His energetic calls have produced incredible moments for the Oilers, especially with the stakes of playoff runs.
If it means they'll get to keep Michaels on the air in the second round, Oilers fans may find themselves cheering for the rival Winnipeg Jets tonight in Game 7 against St. Louis.
