Edmonton Oilers coach addresses starting goalie decision before Game 5

The Edmonton Oilers are now facing elimination in the Stanley Cup Final once again, and will very likely turn back to Stuart Skinner in goal.
Calvin Pickard has earned the starts he's taken from Stuart Skinner, and the Oilers' hometown goalie hasn't had a great season this year. But with everything on the line, after a loss from Pickard, it only makes sense to turn to Skinner.
Oilers coach refuses to comitt to starting goalie, but Stuart Skinner appears more likely
Speaking to the media after the game, Coach Knoblauch made the usual comment and refused to commit to a starter.
I'm not going to make that decision after a tough loss like tonight. From what I saw, Picks didn't have much chance on those goals.
- Coach Knoblauch
Speaking again this morning, Knoblauch said once again that it isn't an easy decision - perhaps showing that Pickard is still in consideration to start.
It's a tough moment facing elimination for the first time this year, and Pickard has exceeded expectation all year. But Stuart Skinner has started 160 games in the last three seasons, and 6 more playoff games than Pickard this year even while struggling.
Skinner, the hometown Edmonton goalie, is their guy. He needs to be the one called upon in these moments, facing elimination with everything on the line - and he's actually done it before. In last year's Canucks series, Skinner came in after losing the net to Pickard to win Games 6 and 7 for the series win.
The fact the Oilers have made it to Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final and are still starting the 33 year old backup Pickard is an indictment on the weakness of their goalies.
Stuart Skinner should get the start in Game 6, and if they can, Game 7.
