The Edmonton Oilers have taken to the ice in Florida for practice before Game 6, and have revealed new line combinations with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins absent.

Nugent-Hopkins has been listed as a game time decision and missed multiple practices earlier on in the Cup Final. It's clear he's playing through injury, but Nuge will definitely be on the ice in an elimination game.

Edmonton Oilers reveal new lines with back against the wall in Game 6

According to Oilers reporters at practice, multiple line changes are expected for Game 6 - with the team facing elimination for the first time this year.
With Nugent-Hopkins absent, Vasily Podkolzin has been bumped up to the first line as a placeholder. Jeff Skinner and Evander Kane have been promoted to the second line with Leon Draisaitl. Viktor Arvidsson is up on the third line, and Kapanen drew back in.
No defence pairings were shared, as the Oilers have done a ton of shuffling on their blue line this series. Rishaug did report that Klingberg appeared to be in active rotations, potentially coming in for Stecher.
The Oilers have been searching for a solution by removing Klingberg and adding Stecher, but it seems more of tactical issues and ice time causing defence problems than personnel.
Coach Knoblauch's moves to promote Jeff Skinner and Evander Kane are the most bold. Skinner's been in the Coach's doghouse all year, and Kane's struggled with penalties this postseason - but both are veteran players with a long history of success in this league, and now's the time to lean on it.
Rishaug also reported that Stuart Skinner was in the starter's net - an indication he's in line to begin Game 6 for the Oilers.

Oilers need every player to answer the moment in elimination scenario

Trying to keep things light today as well, the Oilers had depth forward Max Jones lead stretches - who hasn't played at all this playoffs. It was a solid moment to recognize everyone who's put in any work to get the Oilers to this point.
Now, everything is on the line. The Oilers have yet to truly bring their best hockey in the Cup Final, and now can't lose one more game.
They'll be looking to Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to step up and answer the moment, but every single Oiler will need to bring everything they have for Game 6.
