Connor McDavid raves about Oilers division rival, shares his excitement for their team

Oilers superstar Connor McDavjd is set to become a free agent at the end of this season, so no Edmonton fan wants to hear him speaking positively about another team.
McDavid has yet to engage in any contract discussions with the Oilers so far, but insiders still strongly believe the Captain will be staying in Edmonton.

In a recent interview, Utah Mammoth forward Michael Carcone revealed that almost every NHL player has spoken about just how nice Utah's new facilities are, including McDavid and Draisaitl.
It is the talk around the league right now. At our gym in particular, you can see the Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Steven Stamkos talking about the new facilities. They've heard about it. They're excited for it and they're not even part of the organization."
On a neutral note, it's great to see effective ownership behind the Utah Mammoth build up a reputable facility to become an attractive destination in the NHL. They've quickly picked up the ball from where the Arizona Coyotes owners were just totally unable to work.
It's a positive note for the future of the Mammoth that they're underwing quality new ownership, but it hasn't done anything for signing free agents yet.
Still looking to make a big splash to improve their team and get into the playoffs, the Utah Mammoth acquired JJ Peterka, Brandon Tanev, and Nate Schmidt - but they'll need a lot more.
Utah surely will be a team that would be interested in signing McDavid if he hits free agency, but thankfully he won't just sign based on gym quality.
