Jack Campbell Looks Lost as He Lets in 3rd Shot of The Game
In a surprising move, Edmonton Oilers head coach Jay Woodcroft made a controversial decision regarding the team's goaltending role.
Woodcroft announced that Stuart Skinner had not won the starting position, leaving the role up in the air between him and Jack Campbell. In the season's opening game tonight, Campbell got the nod but faced a rocky start, conceding the first goal on just the third shot he faced and another shortly after. The Oilers now find themselves trailing 2-0 after the first period, hoping Campbell can rebound and turn the tide.
