Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens Discussing a Trade That'll Help The Oilers Playoff Run
Edmonton Oilers fans are getting very impatient with their General Manager Ken Holland and his inability to make a trade to help improve the Oilers as they hope to have a deep playoff run.
The biggest request from fans as well as players was for Holland to find them a Puck moving defencemanto try to get the puck up the ice as quick as possible.
The Oilers have tried to acquire either Erik Karlsson, Jakob Chychrun but had about as much luck as the Leafs do in the first round of the playoffs. However, Holland appears to have a plan C.
According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the Oilers have been interested in acquiring Montreal Canadiens best defencemen Joel Edmundson. The 29 year-old has one year remaining current contract that pays him $3.5 million dollars annually.
