Montreal Canadiens fans, and hockey supporters as a whole have been heartbroken over how Carey Price's career has ended. Price has been sidelined with multiple knee injuries requiring surgery, as well as stepping away from the game to enroll himself into the NHL's Player Assistance Program, which is used for those struggling with addiction, battling mental health issues or other causes.
Although Price is moving far away, that doesn't mean he's going to shy away from supporting local charities, fundraisers and other events taking place in Montreal, because he's just a class act!
On February 18th, Price will return to Montreal to meet and greet with fans at a PeeWee hockey tournament. Price won't be alone, Chris Chelios, Denis Savard, Pierre Turgeon, Caroline Ouellette, Kim St-Pierre and CHarline Labonte will all be present as well.
Despite the struggles Price has faced from the game of hockey, it truly shows what kind of person he is to return to Montreal for a PeeWee youth hockey tournament. It's suspected to be his ''goodbye'' to Quebec on the 18th of February.
