Brawl Before Puck Drop Results in 70 Penalty Minutes Handed Out
Fighting is one of the best thrills of the game to see both live and from the comfort of your own home, and while a small minority of individuals want to ban it, I'm convinced that genuine hockey fans do not support this cause.
On Sunday, the Savannah Ghost Pirates and Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL faced off, and commotion ensued even before the puck was dropped. As a result, 70 penalty minutes were assessed.
The ECHL is as resilient as nails and keeps growing in times like these. There has been a lot of violent history between these two teams, and it seemed like they were going to settle things before the puck dropped.
