Tij Iginla linked to two high picking teams in 2024 draft.

Things have really looked up for forward Tij Iginla this year, as he has taken a huge step forward in his development with his new team. Iginla started the year outside of the predicted first round, but his fantastic year has turned things around completely for him, with some analysts putting him in the top 10 projected picks this year.

Tij Iginla is more than just his father's son, as he is also a 47 goal and 84 point scorer with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL. He has been amazing for that team this year, scoring some highlight reel goals in the process.

He has all the makings of a high draft pick and as time goes on people are respecting his talents more. Of course since his dad was a legend with the Flames organization, there's the obvious connection of Iginla to the Flames at pick #9.

However, another Canadian team that could look to grab Iginla could be the Senators. The Senators are really in need of a middle 6 center, and could also benefit from the Iginla name due to the Canadian tie. Either team would benefit massively from Iginla's skill set and could really hit the gold mine if they draft him.
