Veteran Oilers forward may not play at all in rest of playoffs

The Edmonton Oilers are now on a roll in the playoffs winning their last three games, making it look pretty unlikely for Jeff Skinner to get back in the lineup.
Skinner played the first game of the playoffs, his first in his entire 1000+ game career, but was seen as the easy man out because of a difficult roster fit all season.
Jeff Skinner may not return to Edmonton Oilers lineup at all
After the Oilers rattled off a few wins and have gotten quality contributions throughout the lineup, it's looking very unlikely that Skinner gets back into the lineup - only if there were multiple injuries.
Even if the Oilers were to lose some bottom six players to injuries, Jeff Skinner may not be the ideal replacement player.
The signing never worked out, and it likely would've been beneficial to move out his $3M in salary at the trade deadline if not for his no-move clause.
When Skinner signed originally, there was hope he could reach new offensive height with the Oilers top six. Instead, he only scored 29 points in 72 games in mostly 4th line minutes.
For now, it seems Jeff Skinner has played his last game with the Edmonton Oilers.
