Edmonton Oilers coach reveals multiple lineup updates before Game 1 of playoffs
When meeting with the media before tonight's game, Oilers coach Knoblauch delivered a slew of updates on multiple players.
Trent Frederic is listed as a game-time decision, as he's still fighting to come back from his high-ankle sprain.
According to reporters at practice, it looks like Frederic will be playing tonight.
In addition,
Brett Kulak is currently flying back to Los Angeles and will be available for tonight's game after departing the team for the birth of his daughter back in Alberta. It's great personal news for Kulak, and great that he'll be back in the lineup.
Oilers full lineup for Game 1 of playoffs will be finalized after warmups
At Oilers practice yesterday, their lineup seemed to be all but finalized. If Trent Frederic can enter the lineup, it will cause the Oilers to take out
Kasperi Kapanen. The choice between Dineen and Brown will be a direct swap.
Hopefully the Oilers will soon get as healthy as possible with the returns of their injured players, and they'll be able to put together another long playoff run.
