Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl had the presence of mind to stop last night's preseason game to make sure a fan was okay after being hit by a puck.

At one point last night's game, a puck was fired out of play and noticeably struck a fan in the lower bowl.
It's a frightening scene anytime a fan is hit hard by a puck, as the arena fell silent. Then Leon Draisaitl skated up directly to the glass with the referees, making sure the game was stopped long enough for the fan to get attention.
Trent Frederic even came by with a towel.
It's incredible to see the Oilers players show their care for the fanbase, especially in a scary moment like this. Leon Draisaitl, the team's superstar under contract for the next 8 years, proves once again that he's a fantastic leader to have in Edmonton.
Oilers fans at the game and watching at home were extremely impressed by Draisaitl's leadership and thoughtfulness to make sure the fan was okay - even other NHL fans are praising Draisaitl.
It's great to see a moment where the players show their care for the fans in attendance. Oilers fans will pay it back with total support for Draisaitl for his entire career - and they're thrilled to have him in Edmonton.
