Connor McDavid spotted making incredible gesture to young fans on the road
Despite not being close to the biggest market in the NHL, the Edmonton Oilers have fans everywhere for the generational talents on their roster, especially Connor McDavid. Yesterday in Buffalo, a group of young fans stood watching Oilers practice and got to meet McDavid afterwards.
Two things become clear from this video: the talent of Connor McDavid is creating Oilers fans all over North America, and McDavid himself has grown into a total class act to stop and take a moment with these young fans on the road.
It's great to see the maturation of McDavid through the years and to see him now make these fantastic gestures to kids in road cities frequently. When he entered the league McDavid was mostly a shy kid himself, now he's grown into accepting the fact that he's a legend for many of these kids not just in Edmonton - but all across North America.
