Charles Barkley honored to receive this gift from Leon Draisaitl

It was a great sight as the NBA panel of TNT continues to embrace NHL hockey, so much so that NBA legend Charles Barkley received a jersey from Oilers Leon Draisaitl.

The TNT panel had been discussing which Oilers jersey Barkley would want as they introduced Game 3 during their segment. He said either Draisaitl or McDavid to which he was presented with a signed Draisaitl jersey almost instantly. He was floored and grateful for the gift.

It's been an ongoing segment between both NHL and NBA panels of TNT that cross their coverage and promote each league. It all began with NBA legendary center Shaq receiving a signed jersey from Oilers star Zack Hyman in which returned the favour to Hyman. It also donned the nickname Shaq Hyman as both players have and were dominant in the blue paint of their game.

Barkley had a message for the Oilers and their fans that he chose the Oilers to go all the way in their playoff bracket and win the Stanley Cup.

The series is now shifting to Edmonton where the Oilers are looking to take control of the it as they will have home ice advantage. With the series tied at 1-1 it's anyone's series.

Perhaps Barkley will return the favor when Game 3 is set to begin which will be held on May 27th.
