As Oilers practice began today, all fans and media have been eager to see Perry on the ice, now officially with the team. As soon as practice began, video started pouring out of Perry at practice.
At first, Perry reportedly skated and around and sat out for most line rushes, but he also joined the third line with Ryan McLeod and Derek Ryan for a few chances.
If those combinations hold up, Perry would join the third line and Mattias Janmark would drop down to the fourth line, and likely take Hamblin out of the lineup.
After practice today, Corey Perry and GM Ken Holland are expected to address the media, and also make a corresponding roster transaction to make room for Perry - likely meaning sending down Philip Kemp.
