Oilers officially announce Corey Perry signing, reveal his salary and jersey number

Moments ago, the Edmonton Oilers finalized the signing of Corey Perry. All day yesterday. Reports began to surface that a deal was complete between Perry and the Oilers, and was expected to be announced today.
Perry will be signed for the remainder of this season for a league minimum contract, $775K including performance bonuses. He'll also be wearing the number 90. Perry receives bonus of $225K for playing ten games, then will receive bonuses for playoff round won by the Oilers.
Now that the signing is official, CapFriendly is reporting that the Oilers must make an additional roster transaction to free up cap space for Perry. As the Oilers are currently carrying both an extra forward and defenceman, it's likely that either Adam Erne or Philip Kemp are sent back down to the AHL.
With this signing now official and Perry joining the Oilers for practice today, the team has got a shot in the arm while already on a 13-game win streak. The addition of Perry will give the Oilers a scoring touch and the pest presence in the bottom-six, giving them key ingredients for a run at the Stanley Cup.
