The Edmonton Oilers have been in a cap space catastrophe thanks to general manager Ken Holland, just last week the Edmonton Oilers were scrambling and were unaware of what to do as forward Kailer Yamamoto was ready to be taken off of the injury reserve list preparing for a return, but the Oilers did not have any cap space to activate Yamamoto.
Trade a player, or waive somebody was the most simple move Ken Holland was left with. Instead of either of those things, Holland decided to send down Dylan Holloway and 6-foot-7 defensemen Vincent Desharnais. This disaster has somehow gotten worse..
Dylan Holloway endured a serious injury in his first game with the Bakersfield Condors, after being sent down to the AHL, and is now out a minimum or 30 days.
