In three games of the Stanley Cup Final so far, Leon Draisaitl has zero points, but he's not the only struggling Oiler. Connor McDavid, Zach Hyman, Evan Bouchard, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins also have zero goals in this series. The Oilers have had some quality looks, but they can't beat Sergei Bobrovsky.
On the other hand, Connor McDavid continued to express his belief in the team and their ability to break through offensively in this series. Still, McDavid appeared clearly frustrated.
Down 0-3 in the series, the Oilers chances of a comeback are mathematically near zero - only the 1942 Leafs have ever come back by three to win the Cup Final. Still, if any team would be capable of doing so, it would be the McDavid-led Edmonton Oilers.
Game 4 on Saturday night is now a must win to keep their season alive, or the Florida Panthers will hoist the Cup in Edmonton. With their backs against the wall, we'll see if the Oilers elite offence can finally begin to break through against Florida's elite defence and goaltending.
