Oilers forward Corey Perry received a scolding from referee Steve Kozari as he began to read out the penalties during Game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals.

While reading off the penalties, the referee began by quickly telling Perry to sit down, which ticked off Perry. Perry looked incensed while standing in the penalty box as he awaited Kozari's decision to which he was told to sit down and finished his thoughts. Perry clearly hated the call and began to throw lots of profanity and foul language towards Kozari have as his team was trailing the game 4-1.

Referees these days in the NHL have become more vocal towards players and more animated as they explain the calls including Kozari and Wes McCauley.

Panthers beating Oilers in Cup Final with physical play

It's been a tough series for the Oilers as they have been unable to match the style of the Panthers. During the third period, the Oilers mounted a small comeback but it was too little too late and they ended up losing the game 4-3 which now puts them in a 0-3 hole in the finals.

It seems no matter what they do by outplaying their opponent, out chancing them and trying to match their physicality it just seems the Florida Panthers are one step ahead.

The Oilers will have Game 4 to try to stay alive as it will take place on Saturday June 15th and game time will be 8:00 PM eastern.
