The Oilers lost a Game 3 in heartbreaking fashion by allowing the game winning goal with 0.4 seconds left, and Vegas rubbed it in Oilers fans' faces with billboards in Edmonton.

The Edmonton Oilers actually also employed a jab at the Florida Panthers with billboards down south last year. Now, we're on the wrong side of it.

Vegas business puts up billboards in Edmonton mocking Oilers loss

PKWY Tavern Las Vegas is taking credit for 165 billboards put up in the city of Edmonton today, all trolling Oilers fans with a «0.04 Go Knights Go» message.
With 165 billboards, there's a good chance every Oilers fan in Edmonton saw one of these today.
It's all referencing Reilly Smith's game winning goal that came off a fire sale play by the Oilers, punctuated by Skinner sliding out of his net and Draisaitl tipping it in to lose the game.
This kind of thing feels like exactly what the Vegas Golden Knights organization would endorse - cheap and personal shots about something that's ultimately meaningless.
It's fun to trash talk in a rivalry, but the Oilers are still up 2-1 in the series with another game on home ice before heading back to Vegas. The Oilers could very well win this series, and make these billboards look like a big embarrassment.
Tonight will be a pivotal game in the series. After not playing their best over the last two games, the Oilers still find themselves in an advantageous position to take a commanding lead in Edmonton. Hopefully they come with a more complete effort tonight.
