With their season over, the Pittsburgh Penguins and GM Kyle Dubas continue to evaluate the team and see what path they want to take. One question that was looming was head coach Mike Sullivan's future. It seems that any talk of Sullivan being fired has been shut down by Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby.
It's clear that the roster's construction along with their age has caught up to the Penguins and that a rebuild or retool will be needed to make them competitive again.
Dubas has many decisions ahead of him this summer as a new contract can be locked for Sidney Crosby along will having only 14 players under contract and 12 million in cap space. He also lacks a 1st round draft pick as it was send to the San Jose Sharks in the Erik Karlsson trade.
