J.T. Miller who was recently reacquired by the New York Rangers decided to give a shot towards Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes as both teams faced off against one another on Saturday.

With 18 minutes and 59 seconds left in the second period, Miller decided to give a quick shot against Hughes as they skated past one another after a whistle. It was noticed by the TV commentators who both had a quick laugh as both skaters prepared for the next face off.

Game was circled on the calendar for Miller's matchup against the Canucks

This hockey game was circled on most calendars in the New York Rangers circles and the Vancouver Canucks as the animosity between Miller and the rest of the
Vancouver organization had reached a fever pitch just a few months ago.
The issues between Miller and Elias Pettersson grew a life of its own as their disdain for one another grew more apparent with every passing game.
Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin and President Jim Rutherford was forced to decide between the two players and chose to trade Miller who moved back to the team that drafted him.
Since the move, Pettersson has been very ineffective for the Canucks and the team continues to struggle as they try to find their way back to a playoff spot where they currently sit three points out of a playoff spot.

Miller enjoying his return to the Rangers

Miller, meanwhile, has been enjoying his return to the Rangers as he has been effective on the score sheet and in the dressing room.
It became known that Rangers forward Vincent Trocheck who is a lifelong friend of Miller's gets to play on the same team as him as they once grew up together back in their childhood days in Pittsburgh.
Miller has played 21 games for the Rangers and has scored eight goals, with 12 assists for 20 points and is a + 2 and plays 18 minutes and 36 seconds of average ice time.
The Rangers are currently battling in the Eastern Conference as well for a playoff spot, they remained just on the outside of the wild card and currently tide with the Montreal Canadiens for the second wild card.
