The Edmonton Oilers have one, if not the most underrated player in the NHL currently on their roster. He goes by the name of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who recently broke his career high in points.

You won't hear anyone outside of the Oilers organization speak about ''RNH'', but he has more points then the following players:

Matthew Tkachuk
Mitch Marner
Alex Ovechkin
Kirill Kaprizov
Sidney Crosby
Auston Matthews
Steven Stamkos
Artemi Panarin

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is tied for 8th in league scoring. He's never scored 70 points in a season and is on pace for 98. The only Canadian born player with more points right now is Connor McDavid.
