Historic Edmonton Oilers House Drops $400K in Price

A piece of Edmonton Oilers history is on the market, and the price has dropped to a cool $2.9 million.

This secluded home, formerly owned by Peter Pocklington, overlooks Hawrelak Park and the river valley. Pocklington, renowned for bringing Wayne Gretzky to the Oilers, owned the team from 1976 to 1998, during their iconic "Dynasty Era."

The house boasts seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an outdoor pool, hot tub, and patio.

Many significant hockey deals took place within its walls. Though the house needs some upgrades, the kitchen is recently updated, and the screened porch offers a peaceful view of the river.

The neighborhood adds to its hockey cachet, with close proximity to current Oilers star Connor McDavid and owner Daryl Katz.
