LeBrun feels that general manager Ken Holland has been one of the most active GMs in the NHL trying to bolster his lineup. However, with his cap flexibility not available and players such as Jesse Pujujarvi hard to move, Holland could be in a bind when the clock strikes three on deadline day.
I do believe Holland will make the moves that are needed, whether they are blockbuster trades or smaller moves. Until trade Deadline Day arrives, this will certainly keep the Oilers Nation on their toes.
With 65 points, the Oilers occupy the first wildcard spot in the Western Conference. The division lead is held by the Vegas Golden Knights, who are three points ahead of them.
