With the NHL Trade deadline now just 2 weeks away the rumour scene has been running rapid, and although trade rumours are always exciting, some of them aren't always true.

One Oilers forward who's had his share of trade rumours is Evander Kane. The Oilers star sat down with CTV News Edmonton to talk trade deadline.
"I absorb it. I follow each and every on of your guy's Twitter accounts and like to stay up to date on the activity that's going on. The rumour mill is for me and I really enjoy it."

The Oilers have been rumoured to some of the biggest names available including defenceman Arizona Coyotes Jakob Chychrun, San Jose Sharks Erik Karlsson, and Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane. To that Kane was asked about the possibility of potentially reuniting with his former Sharks teammate:
"I'm real excited about some of the players that are coming to this team, according to you guys."

"I've heard so many things. I've been part of so many rumours and a lot of them are bulls***,"

"There's always going to be rumours just created for entertainment, right? I mean, you guys have shows. There's things that need to be talked about, you know, we gotta fill time. There's lots of things that come with it. At the same time I'm sure there's going to be a ton of [player] movement."

The trade deadline is always fun to a lot of us, myself included, it's like a second Christmas as you never know what you're going to get but you're hoping something awesome.
