Oilers deemed most improved team in the pacific despite not making any moves: Vegas fans aren't happy
The last season Vegas Golden Knights series against the Edmonton Oilers seems to have determined the cup winner, as evidenced by the outcome of that series last season.
Despite making no significant moves during the post-season, according to The Athletic, the team is among the top five most improved teams in the Pacific Division.
Edmonton Oilers are the most improved team in Pacific Division this off-season, says analytics expert. Hmm
One of the most important moves that the team made during the post-season was to bring in
Connor Brown, who was
Connor McDavid's former teammate.
As a hardworking professional winger who can shift up and down the lineup, Brown can be considered a more flexible option than
Kailer Yamamoto, who was recently released as an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.
Losing
Klim Kostin and
Nick Bjugstad does sting slightly, but there is enough young talent on the team to fill the gaps.
Although I disagree with the statement that Kostin is a below-average player, we all know he is a defensive winger who is not afraid to play mean, so we all know he is a roleplayer and not just a skilled player like Draisaitl.
I think Vegas fans need to get ready for the Oilers, as they will look to run it back as soon as possible!
