After making it to the Western Conference Finals last year and gaining that experience, the Edmonton Oilers are looking to be a playoff contender once more this year. The Oilers have some of the best odds to win the Stanley Cup because to the presence of two of the top players in the world in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
Things won't be simple because the Oilers are barely keeping their heads above the NHL's cap space limit. In a recent interview, Oilers Captain Connor McDavid addressed the cap issues saying the following:
