Americans Prove They Don't Know Hockey: Have no idea who McDavid is
Sportsnet went to Florida to test Americans on their knowledge of the state of hockey.
They asked Florida Panthers fans in Sunrise to identify current NHL stars and here are the results.
Sportsnet asked multiple Panthers fans to identify Cale Makar, Mitcher Marner, David Pastrnak, Sidney Crosby, and Connor McDavid. The answers were mind-boggling, Sportsnet was being too generous.

I mean, who wouldn't be floored by an answer like this one? Needless to say, the adults failed hilariously, as the older gentleman had his Conferences mixed up and thought Adam Fox was made by CGI!
The state of the NHL fandom is poor if this is Gary Bettman's NHL.
Last but not least, it took the teenagers to put the adults to shame at the end, as they nailed every single star, without hesitation.
If Bettman is dedicated to growing the game, how about some media recognition for stars like Makar, Fox, and Pastrnak other than Sportsnet, TSN, and other Canadien media outlets?
