The Edmonton Oilers are on the ice for practice before today's game against the Buffalo Sabres, and have revealed their starting lineup.

Edmonton's coming off an overtime win against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Oilers are starting to string together some better efforts. Against a rebuilding team in Buffalo, the Oilers have another prime chance for 2 points.

According to reporters at practice, the Oilers will be deploying the same lineup as last game.
Matt Savoie and Zach Hyman will stick with Connor McDavid on the first line, a trio that looked incredible with Hyman's return from injury. The rookie Savoie is beginning to solidify his spot, looking better every game.
Leon Draisaitl's like with Podkolzin and Roslovic has become the most consistent line, and has been one of the Oilers' best. Podkolzin fulfills a complimentary checking role perfectly, while Draisaitl and Roslovic have developed great chemistry.
The bottom six forward group remains intact as well, with now only David Tomasek as the only healthy scratch. Losing his spot in the lineup and now scratched for multiple games, it's likely Tomasek is the next cut from the Oilers roster.
On defence the team will deploy their usual pairings, with Ty Emberson remaining as the healthy scratch. Stuart Skinner will get the start in net once again.
After a middling start to the season, the Oilers are finally beginning to pick things up with consistent line pairings and 3 wins in their last 4 games. With another win against the Buffalo Sabres tonight, they'd be on their way to shaking off the slow start.
