Yegor Stronov, a 23-year-old hockey�player for Dynamo-Altay of the VHL, can certainly confirm this after suffering serious injuries as a result of a hit from an opponent�by the name of Yegor Filippov.
He sustained quite a bit of damage from the hit, including the loss of a kidney through surgery.
As reported by Sport24.ru He lost his kidney due to damage to the organ, the doctor failed to save it and it had to be removed.
The examination revealed damage to the left kidney. During the surgery the doctors failed to save the organ, so unfortunately the kidney had to be removed.
