Beleaguered Oilers forward Jesse Pujujarvi has made news once again. According to Jeff Marek on The 32 thoughts, he feels that Pujujarvi's tenure with the Oilers has reached an end and will either be placed on the waiver before their next game.

Per Jeff Marek, this will be Puljujarvi's last game with the Oilers.

Yamamoto is expected to return on Wednesday, and Puljujarvi will be placed on waivers if he is not traded by then.

With the return of Oilers forward Kailer Yamamoto on Wednesday, the Oilers will make their move and send the 24-year-old right winger to the next chapter in his career.
The Oilers had high hopes for Puljujarvi when he was selected in the first round 4th pick overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Standing at 6 foot four 201 pounds they felt that he would be the power forward they were looking for to make a difference on their top 6.
That was not the case as he has struggled mightily and has scored no more than 15 goals in one season. He has played 51 games, scored five goals with six assists for 11 points and is a - 13.
One can hope that general manager Ken Holland can find him a new home whether it's with the Bakersfield condors or another NHL organization. Something needs to be done so that the Oilers and Puljujarvi can move on.
