Last night, perhaps one of the best hockey fights in years went down in an AHL game between the Belleville Senators' Boko Imama and the Manitoba Moose' Tyrel Bauer.

The two large enforcers squared off at centre ice for an old-fashioned hockey fight of non-stop punches. Both players got tied up in close range with each other, but we're still both able to land quick and hard blows to the face and body. Towards the end, Imama was able to pin Bauer near the boards and continue to fill him in, but neither player would go down.

When it became clear that both fighters could just keep going well into an already long fight, both players conceded as the referees stepped in. Bauer even gave Imama a friendly tap on the head, and Imama acknowledged it back as a sign of respect for the phenomenal fight.

It can't be seen in the video, but the announcer says near the end of the clip that Bauer's visor was filled with blood, maybe leading to a decision in favour of Imama for the fight. Regardless, this was one of the most fierce and vintage hockey fights that fans have seen in years.
