The Edmonton Oilers appear unlikely to add another forward before training camp after the team struck out on free agent Jack Roslovic.

Reports surfaced yesterday that Roslovic fired his agent after declining an offer from the Oilers this offseason. Since then, the Oilers seem to have moved on from Roslovic or any other free agents.

Edmonton Oilers unlikely to add any other players after Roslovic rejection

Training camps have opened up across the NHL which saw some players joint teams on tryout contracts - but none for the Edmonton Oilers.
Even though the team expects to begin the season without Zach Hyman, the Oilers are expected to look to their internal talent to fill the gaps this year. The team was rumoured to be interested in former Oiler Klim Kostin, but no deal has been reached.
Reports have also surfaced connecting the Oilers to a trade for Columbus forward Yegor Chinakov, but again, it now appears unlikely as the Oilers roster is full up heading into camp.
Edmonton has a number of young new additions who could be pushing to make the NHL roster this year as call-ups, and next year as full time players.
Forwards like Noah Philp, Quinn Hutson, Viljami Marjala, and Roby Jarventie are pushing to make the roster - and some have even played NHL games already. They're arguable NHL ready players now.
Hopefully the Oilers depth can fulfill the long grind of the regular season, and step up to be a difference maker in the playoffs. The new additions from GM Stan Bowman will be key this year.
