During the first period of Game 4, it became clear but the NHL referees we're allowing Aden hill free reign on the Edmonton Oilers while they were being punished for being pushed into the goaltender.

The incident occurred after the Oilers scored their second goal when Oilers forward Evander Kane was pushed from behind into Adin Hill who was punished with a penalty but allowed hill to take several shots on cane without a roughing call.

Oilers reporters voiced their anger on social media

After it was over, several Oilers reporters including Mark Spector and Jim Matheson both took to the X platform and voiced their disappointment in anger towards the non call towards Hill.
Hill had performed other roughing calls or interference such as interfering Oilers forward Zach Hyman despite standing in the blue paint.
The energy of both teams has been rising throughout this game and the series as the Oilers look to take a stranglehold as they currently lead the series 2-1 going into tonight's game.
Hockey Night In Canada NHL analyst and former NHL defenceman Kevin Bieska felt at the Oilers have ramped up their intensity and attempting to smash the Golden Knights in front of their home crowd.
The Oilers were looking to change the narrative of this series after their disastrous finish in game 3 where the Vegas golden Knights scored with 0.4 seconds left in the third period by an errant stick from Leon Draisaitl after Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner left his crease leaving the net wide open.

Oilers looking for a bounce back and ready to push the Golden Knights

The Oilers continue to gain momentum throughout these playoffs after taking care of the Los Angeles Kings in round one with four straight wins and then winning their first two games in T-Mobile Arena.
Despite their set back in Game 3, the team will try to make quick work of the golden Knights as the Oilers remain healthy and are getting contributions throughout the entire lineup especially on the score sheet as the Oilers have had three or four goals per game.
The series will now switch back to Las Vegas, Oilers fans will see if they will be up 3-1 or in a best of three series.
Game 5 will take place on Wednesday May 14th and game time will be at 9:30 PM eastern.
